This lodge was reasonably priced for the time of year (end March) The hot tub was great, we used it everyday (the only improvement on this could be a roof for when its raining). The lodge was very clean, beds comfortable and had everything we needed.

Surprise getaway for my partners 50th birthday, On arrival the staff were very friendly, said the hot tub should be ready by around 5.30 6pm, time now 4.30pm, this was not the case, hot tub temp was ready at 2am, but your not allowed in it after 10pm.The accommodation was lovely, very warm ????, cosy, everything was there for us. The only Slight niggles we had, We didnt have enough towels, 2 x bath sheets and 2 x hand towels, we ended up using one as a floor Matt for when we came out the tub. (Unfortunately we didnt see any staff to ask for more towels)It would have been nice to have a couple of hooks outside to hang our towels. YES I would definitely come back, it was a lovey experience, the hot tub was amazing and I would recommend this holiday to anyone

Good base, Lovely cosy lodge just a few tiny things but then it is the end of the season so that could equate for it. Carpet in main bedroom very stained, bush over grown and blocking entrance, NO washing machine, lots of cobwebs and dirt/dust and deadbry under sofas/chairs and alongside beds. No biggy and we were late getting in as they were short staffed so would explain above too. Overall we would go back there and recommend to others ** Do think the hot tub could do with a bit of a privacy screen/wind break around it ????

Great place we have been to many times. The main bed looks like a camp bed bit it's actually really comfortable and solid. Place was nice and clean, well equipped the only thing I would add would be a a coffee table or at least some side tables next to the sofa. Bedding and towels were top notch too.

A peaceful park, in beautiful surroundings, family run and they family and staff could not have done more for us. The Lodge was clean, well furnished and well maintained. Easy to walk into the local village of Tintagel and also access coastal walks. We did not always use the car. A place of rest and relaxation with breath taking scenery close at hand. Will be visiting again.

The site was immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful. Accommodation was well equipped but was shabby, worn. The mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs and was hard. The steps up to the decking was in need of replacing as wood was rotting. There was nowhere to store provisions except for the fridge.Washer/dryer was good, as was the vacuum and other ancillary items.

Really dated lodge, would of been old 5 years ago. Various items bodged together and tatty carpets and furnishings. When the owner was contacted he stated he was ashamed to rent it out, begs the question why rent it out at that price in the first place? Overall very poor.

Best lodge we have stayed in at this venue - very nice. Just a shame the nearby cove is now closed due to dangerous cliffs

Date of stay: 25th April 2023
The lodge was very nice apart from the lack of blinds in the lounge and kitchen, which afforded no privacy. We were unable to watch TV when the sun shone, which was most of the time, due to the lack of blinds. The settee was uncomfortable. Overall very well kept and equipped.

The nearby town of Tintagel is lovely with loads of small cafes/pubs and shops all with very welcoming staff. The town is very dog friendly which was great for us as we had our 8 month old pup with us. The surrounding area is very picturesque with a wonderful rugged coastline.
