Stayed with wife and 2 yearold in a luxury caravan on a wet and cold March weekend. The caravan was great. Always warm (in fact had to turn heating down at night) and cosy with good shower and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge and living area. Had everything we needed.

Date of stay: 23rd December 2016
See above, loved it but a few issues especially lack of any disabled lodges a dissapointment, a few niggles blinds missing or not working as they should be, curtains and their poles breaking falling off, light bulbs not working, electric main room fire not working, but deckhouse furniture was comfy, bedrooms were cosy, warm, kitchen was good well equipped loved it an airy spacious
Andrew, Bedworth
Date of stay: 5th December 2016
Our holiday was great staying in the deck house, the only thing I would say is that the double bed was low to the ground but still comfy, Going for a swim in the pool was great had it all to ourselves, staff were really helpful, we will be back next year so John showed us around some of the other lodges number 18 was our favourite and hope to stay there in our next visit,
Date of stay: 18th November 2016
Main bathroom needs a blind and ensuite shower has mould in grouting.
Other than that a lovely place to stay, warm & cosy thank you

We have stayed at the lodges every year for the last few years. The lodges are very spacious and comfortable. They include towels, linens, tea and coffee. They are very peaceful - home away from home.

Barbara, Margate
Date of stay: 30th September 2016
Everything I was looking for. Clean comfortable and nice outlook. If I had one complaint it lacked kitchen equipment most of the kitchen cupboards were empty but very enjoyable just the same
Grace, Preston
Date of stay: 26th September 2016
On the whole it was very good. However, I would recommend
1) net curtains on the bedroom windows. The ones in the living room were very good.
2)a sharpening steel for the knives
3)a chopping board which does not blunt the knives, ie plastic or wood not a glass surface protector.
Everything was clean apart from the grill pan and the bottom of the oven. However, the oven was usable and we didn't need the grill pan.
Jocelyn, Pett, East Sussex
Date of stay: 10th September 2016
Very clean and modern

Date of stay: 15th August 2016
The deckhouse was great, but just one niggle. There aren't enough hooks and shelves, especially in the en suite. Also, a king size bed would be good.

We were so impressed with the accomodation; clean, tidy and modern with everything we needed. The staff at the site were really helpful including giving a recommendation for a good place to eat nearby. The location is perfect, you're within 10-30 minute drive from all the main attractions and of course have excellent walking on the doorstep. Definitely would visit again!

Amazing place. Deckhouse was top draw. Well above expectations. Pool was great. Wish I hadn't book next Years holiday before I'd stayed here, asbo would of booked again.
Lisa, West Midlands
Date of stay: 31st August 2015
I wish I could give the deckhouse 10 out of 10 for everything as it really is fabulous. Sadly, poor cleanliness in ensuite bathroom & dirty floors on arrival let in down but everywhere else was beautifully clean & I think maybe this was a one off issue. I am very fussy so please don't let this put you off at all. It's in a great spot; you can watch your children play in play park whilst they feel they've got independence of being in there without you. It's located near to shop and swimming pool meaning everywhere is easy to reach. Very spacious inside, bedrooms both have huge wardrobe areas which are great for storage. Lovely fluffy white towels & immaculate bedding. Can't fault anything about it other than previously mentioned.
Vince, Chelmsford

Date of stay: 6th July 2015
The only thing I will say about the cabin was the carpet had a few stains assuming others with dogs were not at well trained as ours so maybe a quick steam would have helped apart from that excellent
Derek, Barrow-in-furness
Date of stay: 3rd July 2015
Massive lodge. Very well equipped and great location. We had my elderly mother-in-law who is registered blind with us. It was ideal, spacious, plenty of light, able to eat out on the decking and easy for her to move around. Having 2 bathrooms meant she was able to have one to herself and get used to the layout quickly.
Christopher, Guildford
Date of stay: 20th June 2015
Really nit picking to find a problem but found pillows too soft, however my pet peeves of not having a socket near a mirror (for hairdryer) and hooks on back of doors didn't happen so 10 out of 10

The lodge was new with everything for modern day family living.
The bathroom and en suite were tasteful and of a high standard.
The kitchen was very well planned and included a superb range of appliances.
The third bedroom was fine for children but would be cramped for adults. An excellent , modern family space for a family holiday.

We were very impressed with the deckhouse. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to the park, pool and shop. You could sit on the deck and watch the kids playing in the park so I would recommend this to families. We also had our own parking space. We couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice lodge. Lots of space and nice to have en suite in a lodge. Location could be better - is right at front of park on its own overlooking play area. We didn't have a problem with this but if site is full this could be a problem. Plus side - close to swimming pool so could run back and get showered and dressed in comfort.

Perfect way to spend Christmas. Well appointed, warm and cosy. Had everything we needed. Perhaps replace the damaged sofa rather than cover with a throw. This is the only thing that let it down. Would certainly book again. Loved it.
Amazing welcome at reception along with an upgrade for our special weekend away. Perfect location and can’t wait to stay again
We stayed here for our trips to Alton Towers. As we had no issues we never needed to call on staff to help us, however the staff members we did come across were lovely and friendly. The park was very clean and well maintained. This is the 2nd time we've stayed and would happily stay again and recommend.
Fantastic half term weekend. A very happy 6 year old boy😃. Beautiful well equipped caravan and lots of Walks nearby. Lovely restaurants in Ashbourne. We will definitely be back 😃
Fantastic well equipped lodge! Spotlessly clean.
Gorgeous place and park, staff were lovely and our lodge was gorgeous!! A little restaurant or bar on site would have been the cherry on the top of the cake, would 100% return
We had a fantastic lodge that was clean and spacious and ideal for our needs. We had ordered a high chair which wasn't there on arrival but as soon as we mentioned it, there was someone at the lodge within 10 minutes to put it right - fantastic. Playground was great for the kids. Only downside was the pool which was cold. Apart from that we all had a great time and loved the location and what the region had to offer.
