Woodland Lodges in the gorgeous Carmarthenshire countryside are an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday. The spacious detached lodges are set within 15 acres of woodland and are perfect place for those looking to escape and de-stress.
In the past lodge breaks were usually not suitable for wheelchair users due the the design of the accommodation and the access, but Woodland Lodges have though of everything. Most of the lodges have been designed to meet the needs of disabled guests including those using a wheelchair.
The peaceful park is a haven for many kinds of wildlife and has a tranquil woodland walk area as well as a picnic and barbecue area. Locally the beautiful coastlines of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire are within reach and offer beautiful beaches and scenery. The Brecon Beacons national park is also easily accessible.
There are many types of lodge available sleeping from 4-8 people. Lodges with wheelchair access include The Wren which sleeps 2 and is for adults only, The Nuthatch which sleeps 4 and also has a sauna and spa bath and The Goldcrest which is similar but sleeps 6. All lodges are modern and spacious with electric heating and double glazing to make them cosy all year round. They have well equipped kitchens for self catering as well as TV/DVD player in the living room.
