Landal Gwel an Mor has the WOW Factor!
This gorgeous holiday park situated on the stunning north Cornwall coast is the perfect destination for those who want a choice of activities on their doorstep, or simply to unwind in a beautiful part of the country and to enjoy some wonderful views.
Located in beautiful north Cornwall, Landal Gwel an Mor is a stunning holiday park just a short stroll from the glorious sandy beach of Portreath, which is ideal for surfing, sunbathing, or simply building sandcastles with the whole family.
Whether you like exploring the history of the quaint and mysterious nautical history of Cornwall, or simply enjoying life in the great outdoors, there’s something for everyone. As well as offering some beautiful coastal walks, there’s also plenty of countryside and nature reserves for cycling or walking.
Things to do
The stunning area of Gwel an Mor is home to Feadon Farm, the perfect day out for families who want to interact with nature and animals – you can even take a woodland safari and see falconry birds.
For guests seeking an active holiday, there’s a conservation centre and wildlife walks, and golfing is available on the park, as well as tennis, rock pooling, fishing, and a well-equipped gym.
For those looking for a more relaxed holiday, enjoy gentle walks along the coastline and beautiful beaches, or a gentle swim or chilled session in the sauna.
All of the lodges are stylishly decorated, many of which are Scandinavian log lodge style and have the lounge upstairs which opens onto a balcony offering splendid views of the park.
Other lodges are modern with contemporary furnishing and have their own decking and hot tub, well positioned for the sun.
A typical lodge has a double bedroom with a TV and an ensuite shower, with a lounge and kitchen area offering sea views. Indulgent touches include a woodburning stove for warming the cockles in the cooler months, bathrobes for guests, and an outdoor hot tub for a relaxing dip with a cold drink of fizz.
The park features café facilities next door to the kids’ indoor play area to keep parents occupied whilst the kids are having fun.
There’s also the Terrace Restaurant, which boasts stunning sea views to enjoy over a delicious bite to eat for perhaps a tasty dinner or afternoon tea.
Cycle hire is also available through the park for guests to make the most of.
Located on the picturesque Cornish coastline with views over the idyllic fishing village of Portreath, the park has its very own indoor activity centre with softplay and climbing walls for toddlers and teenagers to enjoy. For guests seeking a spot to relax, the park has its own Wellbeing Spa with an indoor pool, spa bath, steam room, and sauna.
There’s also a picturesque fishing lake, as well as a 9-hole golf course inspired from some of the world’s best courses. Other attractions include a fully equipped gym, an outdoor play area, a croquet and boules lawn, cycle hire, and falconry.
