This was a beautiful lodge, what you see in the photos is what you get. Was a lot bigger than I expected. Very roomy and stylish furnishings. Would be great in the summer as there is a balcony with a barbecue. Overall this lodge was gorgeous and would definitely love to return here!

We were shocked at how big the lodge was when we first walked in the door and it immediately feels warm and welcoming.
Heating system was amazing and we ended up turning it off most of the time as it was quite difficult to keep cool, even for late October.
Kitchen area is superb with most basic items provided for. Take a knife sharpener with you, though.
A couple of niggly maintenance issues were reported but nothing that affected the holiday.
Don't go mad using hot water during the day. You can be left short and I don't think you can override the system.
The outside deck area could do with a major tidy and the encroaching trees could do with being cut back a bit to improve the views across the lake.
Although the lodge is designed to accommodate four adults, I think it could be a little crowded. Two adults with two children is ideal here.

The lodge was really beautiful, just a few things could do with being cleaned, e.g. Hairs on the bathroom floor, the sofas had crums all in them, the tiling in the en suite and the blanket in the living room really needed washing but this didn't ruin our stay at all, we just cleaned a bit first
