Excellent facilities. Our only comment was that a bread knife would have been welcome and also we found the previous occupants had obviously experienced problems using dish washer as cutlery had not been washed satisfactorily. These were only minor issues and did not detract from the excellent ambiance of the property.
We hope to return again before too long.
Was very lucky to get a 4 day break at a very good discounted price. We only paid half The amount our neighbours did so was pleased because I think it was extremely over priced The setting was lovely and peaceful but the fishing was not good. The lakes are nice but not many fish.
Shower could be overhauled.
Litter left from previous occupants a little off putting. No cot or high chair. But otherwise very comfortable. Reasonably well equipped kitchen, but more mugs for tea needed.

Lovely setting overlooking the lake and we really enjoy staying here.
This is not a complaint but an observation - perhaps to clear leaves from the decking also had to buy cleaning equipment to clean the outside table and chairs.
No enough wine glasses, other glasses. Bottle opener was broken.
Electricity went off (unavoidable) however since this seems to occur at times perhaps provision and explanation about what to do in the case of this event.
It would have been better if one of the double bedrooms had the possibility of being set up with an alternative two single beds as son had to sleep in the lounge and we needed to buy an extra duvet.
With good weather it is an excellent place to unwind and relax even if fishing is not for you..
Spacious and well appointed lodge. Generally very clean. A few very minor niggles - coffee stained mugs (which came clean with a quick scrub!) kitchen cupboard doors that didn't close properly - could be easily rectified by hinge adjustment and a very loose pan handle!
Fantastic spacious lodge with all mod cons (except bread bin!) minor problem is continuing wasp destroying needed, not enough to put us off. VERY comfy bed, comfy seating in lounge area. So quiet just the perfect break for us.
Kingfisher lodge was lovely
Date of stay: 10th April 2017
Accommodation type: Grebe Lodge
Everything that you need for that fishing break
Exceeded our expectations. Lovely location, clean secure site and very quiet. Excellent for our type of holiday
Great location and lodges were spread out very well
Nice quiet place and lakes are lovely
Just what we were looking for.
This is a beautiful, peaceful area. Apart from the lakes for fishing, there is nothing else but the birds, squirrels and ducks to see. Peace and tranquility is occasionally interrupted by the odd helicopter flying overhead but not often enough to disturb the overall quiet.
The lodge was very comfortable, fully equipped and very thoughtfully laid out. Even a gas bar b que is provided on the veranda with gas supplied.
The area is gated so quite private.
We enjoyed our second visit and almost certainly will return for a third.
