Fun Days Out in Pembrokeshire

Treasure Island Fun Centre is situated in the Anglesey area of North of Wales and there is really no better place to take children on a rainy day. The fantastic all weather attraction features a huge array of slides, chutes, climbing frames, ball pools and mazes. Energetic kids can really let of steam while the grown ups can relax in the cafe with a drink and a snack. There are separate areas four younger children to play safely, so no one is left out of the fun.

Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.

Quiet, peaceful and freindly staff made for a relaxing, romantic stay.
Most enjoyable time only complaint was the static van vacuum cleaner lacked tools and was not very efficient !
Excellent camp site quiet friendly and well run . Excellent restaurant. Pool changing could be improved - Male/Female /Families facilities and a squidgy mop for floor .
This was our first family holiday and it was just incredible!! Beautiful caravan, fantastic site and facilities with everything you need in your doorstep!! Would highly recommend!
Took the family here as I was doing ironman Wales. Great venue, brilliant for the family would use again.
We had a lovely stay. The caravan was spotless and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful including the hot tub man who gave us a great tip for a country walk! The camp is very quiet and peaceful and the sound of the wind through the trees is wonderful. A beautiful site and excellent location with so much to do nearby. Was sad to leave but we are looking forward to returning one day soon.
